Rory Sutherland

Rory Sutherland spent a lifetime working on the creative side of the advertising Agency Ogilvy and is the co-founder of its Behavioural Science Practice. He authored Alchemy: The Surprising Power of Ideas that Don’t Make Sense, serves on the advisory board of the Evolution Institute and is former president of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. When it comes to AI Rory’s hope is that we can harness AI's time-saving potential to better refine and engage our human intuition, craft and strategic thinking. His fear is that it  may be used to serve the corporate world’s perpetual quest for efficiency, closely related to laziness, and ‘good enough’ outcomes, instead of unlocking new and unexpected creative possibilities. His advice for human beings is ‘don’t be useless’.

Graham Fink

Graham Fink is one of the world’s most awarded international Creative Directors. He was voted into D&AD’s book of the top 28 Art Directors of all time. He is also a Photographer. Film Director. Multi-media artist. Graham is arguing that we have effectively entered a new era he calls Aivolution: humans and AI evolving together. Not as rivals. Not as master and servant. As interdependent partners. For the first time, children may inherit not just genes and culture, but also the AI their parents worked with. Digital partners in memory, creativity, problem-solving. Human + AI as a single unit of evolution. Humans bringing creativity and values, AI bringing speed and patterns. Together, hybrid minds that will push our species further than ever before. The choice is ours: treat AI as just another tool, or embrace it as a partner in our evolution. Aivolution won’t just make us a better species. It will make us a new species.
